Creative director and
founder of Demestiks NYC, Reuben Reuel has released his fall 2013
collection, which is a creation of vibrantly-coloured vintage African
prints crafted into modern designs.
Reuben a New Orleans native moved to New York in 2007 and launched
his first women’s wear label in 2010, with a dedication to providing
contemporary, classic designs with a hint of vintage flair.
According to Reuben, “The aesthetic of the label is finding fabrics
that inspire creativity”, and his latest collection would definitely
inspire creativity in African fashion.
