As FG, ASUU Meeting Ends….. Fagge: We'll Take President’s Message to Members

After a marathon meeting with the Federal Government, the President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Dr.  Nasir Fagge Tuesday morning told reporters that his union will take the message  from President Goodluck Jonathan to members.

The meeting  between the  Federal Government team  and ASUU leaders which was aimed at ending the four months old  industrial action in the universities  began  at 2.240pm and ended  some minutes past 3 am Tuesday.

ASUU simply told

journalists  at the end of the meeting that the union got a message  from the President  and would take it to the members,  but  did not say what transpired at the meeting, whether a truce was reached or not.
