Akure Bound Chattered Associated Airline plane with Reg No. SCD 361 enroute Akure from Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, crashed shortly immediately after ake-off at about 9:30am local time.
The aircraft was conveying the corpse of Ex-Governor Agagu, 20 passengers and 7 crew members.
Emergency rescue operation commenced immediately. Some persons pulled out from tje plane were rushed to the hospital while dead bodies have being recovered.
