Beauty Tips: How To Renew And Maintain Your Skin

Each morning when you wake up and every night before you go to sleep, it is inevitable for you to stray from your usual habits of getting ready to go about your business or take it down for the night. If you allot a few extra minutes daily to follow a skincare regimen compatible with your skin, it would not only leave you with beautiful, healthy and fresh skin but it allow you to maintain that youthful glow as you get older.
Whether your skin type is oily, dry, normal or combination, it is of use to follow this simple three-step process:

Cleanse

We were all born with different skin types and have to modify our skincare routine accordingly. While those who tend to have dry or normal skin use a creamy wash, people with oily or combination skin should use a gel based wash. Either way, make sure your cleanser is soap-less cleanser. Soap should not be used from the neck up.  If washing your face twice a day is too much for you, cleanse at night to remove dirt that may have settled into your face throughout the day.  Toners are sometimes used to remove excess dirt, oil or makeup. This is optional if you feel that you need something to supplement your cleanser.
Exfoliate

Normally, you see this step accompanied with cucumbers over the eyes. This is a vital step that many people tend to skip and it can make a big difference if you comply at least twice a week. The most common way people exfoliate is either using a gentle microdermabrasion set (a scrub with small grains that won’t tear your skin) or a chemical peel (a mask). This is an important step that rids skin of dead cells making your skin softer, younger, and brighter.
Moisturize

This is another step many people ignore because either they don’t want to clog their pores or they find it adds too much oil to their already oily skin.  This is why it is necessary to find a moisturizer that works for your skins needs. You must keep your skin hydrated; this can prevent wrinkles in the long run!
