Airtel Nigeria To Stop Blackberry Plans From Working On Other Devices

A sad news for Internet users in Nigeria as this very affordable internet service would be missed.
The network has announced plan to scrap the Blackberry plans from working on other devices beginning from tomorrow December the 3rd! Previously, with the Blackberry plan of 1,500 niara can get you a 2GB data plan, however
suscribing through the normal internet plan route could be as high as 4,000 naira for the same 2GB.
Unconfirmed reports are that other Internet Service Producers reported Airtel to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), over unfair advantage due to the internet plan.
*In my honest opinion, i think Airtel Nigeria made the wrong move. Most of their customers are on the network because of the affordable internet, that's why they had the highest rate of customers porting to their network in the last report released by NCC. Scrapping the plan, is a bad buisness strategy.
